Jim and Linda Shields
Senior Staff Pastor
Jim and Linda have served the community of Sanctuary in a Staff Senior Pastoral role since its inception in 1994. Jim has a 20 year business background as a small business owner. They have three married children and seven grandchildren.
Jim and Linda began serving the local church as a lay minister in 1974 as youth pastors. They also have overseen marriage and family instruction and small group ministries.
They were called into the pastorate in 1992. Jim is licensed and ordained through Open Bible Churches.

Greg and Carol Jurczak
Associate Staff Pastor
Greg and Carol are the proud parents of three children and six grandchildren.
Their backgrounds come from administration and sales.
Greg has worked for various pharmaceutical companies and having account responsibility for a major West Coast chain.
Carol's background was that of hospital administration. Her career included positions in Human Resources, Hospital Foundation (fund raising) and most recently as the Administrative Assistant to the CEO.
Greg has served in lay ministry as a member and past President of Psalm 100. Carol was also a member and served as past secretary (Psalm 100 is a local Christian Choir). Greg and Carol have also worked with Billy Graham Pictures. Politically Greg served as the campaign chairman for political candidates. In church ministry Greg has been in the role of Sunday School Teacher, Small Group Leader, Mens Ministry Leader, Inste facilitator and Church Elder.
Both Greg and Carol have retired and in September of 2008 assumed the role of Staff Administrative Pastors.
Greg is licensed and ordained through Open Bible Churches.
Terry and Gloria Godchaux
Associate Staff Pastor
Terry and Gloria Godchaux, holding their 6 year old granddaughter Siena (Then 2 years old). They have 5 adult children, ages 22 through 34, and 2 grandchildren ages 6 and 16.
They have been serving in youth ministry leadership since 1987, and have been Sanctuary Ministries Staff Youth Pastors from August of 2004 to June of 2009.
Since June of 2009, they have stepped out of youth and taken on their new role as Staff Associate Pastors. Terry is also an Assistant Chaplain for the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office, West County Detention Facility in Richmond. Terry is retired from the Alameda County Sheriff's Office after 25 years of service.
Gloria is a former certified Ergonomist with a degree in Industrial Psychology. She is currently working as a Librarian for the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office, West County and Martinez adult Detention Facilities.
Terry is licensed and ordained through the International Theological Seminary.
