Sanctuary is a non-denominational, biblically based, community-focused church. We are compelled by God's love to carry the fullness of His kingdom to our world. We exist to declare and demonstrate the liberating power of the Gospel, and our purpose is to pursue God's presence, and to be transformed into His image, together.
We are a praying church that believes personal and corporate conversation with Jesus brings freedom, revelation, and purpose.

HOUSE OF PRAYER
In 2022, through prophetic prayer, God declared over Sanctuary that "My House is a House of prayer." Since then, we have strived to center prayer as the core rhythm of our DNA. We meet multiple times a week to pray together, and our prayer team is available after every service for personal, inner-healing prayer.

Pastor Jim Shields
Pastor Jim Shields established Sanctuary Ministries Church in 1994 on the foundational principle that at the core of the gospel, we are called to love God and love others. His influence has fostered a church that is community-focused where real relationships with Jesus and one another come first.
Co-Lead Pastor
Pastor Audrey McCormick
Audrey has a passion for building His praying church and longs to see prayer unleash revival in the Bay Area as Jesus is glorified in His own house. Audrey is a Ph.D. Candidate at Oral Roberts University; her research focuses on Song of Solomon in this history of Pentecostal spirituality.
Associate Pastor
Pastor Warren Clark
Pastor Warren and his wife Lori are passionate about breaking depression and oppression through intercession. They believe that only Jesus brings true freedom from brokenness, and that His healing is accessible through prayer.
