WHY DO WE CALL OURSELVES ELIJAH GENERATION?
Elijah was a prophet that walked in the power of the Holy Spirit in one of the darkest times of history. Mixture of religious practices permeated the culture bringing confusion and compromise to God's people. Elijah challenged God’s people by saying, “How much longer will you waver, hobbling between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him! But if Baal is God, then follow him" (1 Kings 18:21).  Elijah called the people to be either hot or cold, urging them to forsake a lukewarm lifestyles and to choose God alone. When Elijah prayed for the Lord to reveal Himself to the people, God answered by consuming Elijah's sacrifice with fire.

At Elijah Generation we encourage one another to daily choose God's light and truth over the compromises of this world.  We offer our hearts to God, in faith, believing He will send the fire of His Spirit to consume us and fill us with passion to live whole-heartedly for Jesus. It is through the power of the His Holy Spirit, and the blood of Jesus, that we are able to choose His light in a dark world.

Thanks! Message sent.
